Do you offer training to operate the haunted house?
Our company has been operated haunted houses for over 30 years. We can help you with everything from actor training, operations, to marketing.

What is the first step to building a haunted house?
Creating a budget is the most important first step because that dictates how detailed, how many animations, etc your haunt could have. The Darkness in St Louis has over 6 million dollars invested. Clearly we could build you a million dollar haunted house or an attraction for two hundred thousand. Your budget dictates the entire projects. Secondly you need to determine the square footage and lastly the theme. Next contact us for a quote.

How Long Does it Take to Build and Install a haunted house?
Depending on the size and complexity we tell clients 8 to 10 weeks from start to finish. Typically install time is about 7 to 10 days.

Can we see a haunted house you’ve built before buying?
YES! Our factory is located UNDER what many consider to be the best haunted house in the WORLD ‘The Darkness’. Visit us in St Louis and we’ll show you our factory and give you a tour thru our haunted houses, escape rooms, gift stores and more.

How many square feet is typically needed for a haunted house?
Depending on how much square footage you have we suggest multiple haunts rather than one big one. Everything really depends on your space.

Can you build a haunted house with virtually no actors?
YES! But that will be very expensive. We’ll need to supply you with multiple animations and special fx. Our company has also mastered the art of scareboxes which allows actors to operate from a central location accessing multiple area’s of the haunted house.

What is the differnece between a 3D Blacklight Haunted House and a traditional haunted house.
3D Blacklight haunts are in 3D when using a special pair of glasses, and offer a unique secondary haunted house.
